I am still sick, but my friend took this picture of me yesterday. I wanted to smile, hoping it would make me look healthy. I thank John for taking care of me during this illness and for staying with me as I went from test to test at the hospital in Magog. He did not leave me.
Kindest regards to all of you. ❤️

Today, Canadians vote. So, this is an appropriate time to congratulate Canada’s Premiers and our Prime Minister. They were not afraid when the very worst occurred: a pandemic! They followed the advice of medical experts and quickly initiated public health policies aimed at protecting Canadians.
I am grateful to members of parliament who would not desist. Naysayers and timid Canadians slowed down efforts on the part of elected leaders. However, they and foremost authorities in epidemiology stood together from the very first outbreak.
Many Canadians have their vaccine passport. This tool is like magic.
The battle is not over, but we’re on the go …

Once again, I would like to thank bonjourberlin.com for honouring me.
Bonjour Berlin has fallen in love with Berlin.
The same thing happened to a friend of mine, a university teacher and actor. He therefore lived in both Berlin and Westmount. Canadian pianist Louis Lortie has also settled in Berlin.

It is my duty and honour to nominate fifteen bloggers. I haven’t seen rules other than
acknowledging being nominated and
presenting a list of 15 persons, which I did in random order.
The only rule to the Blogger Recognition award is to nominate colleages. However, if doing so is problematical, please accept this nomination for what it is, a Blogger Recognition Award. You need not acknowledge this nomination except by telling you received it.
I wish to thank Xena for nominating me for a Respect award. One wonders if one deserves such an honour. However, I have been doing my best, which is perhaps all that one can do.
My posts are, at times, too long and I repeat myself or say something that may seem irrelevant.
I am therefore very grateful for this nomination and wish to congratulate other nominees.
Usually nominations come with rules. If there are rules, I will respect these rules.
Again, I thank you most sincerely.
