Dear friends,
I have been sick for several days. It’s not Covid-19. I am fully vaccinated. But my memory plays tricks on me and I have terrible headaches.
I have written a post on the good gentleman. Aubert de Gaspé has reasons to look upon Amerindians as better that the white man. However, it is a main theme in his novel.
We also have battles. These have been somewhat rearranged. There was a second Battle of Sainte-Foy, faught on 28 April 1760. France won, but the motherland did not send reinforcement. Britain did.
Love to everyone 💕
Thank you for the art and the music, dear Micheline.
I hope you feel better!
Much love,
D

Isn’t the music divine? That movement is an epiphany. I am unlikely to recover, but I am doing all I can to keep my memory healthy. CFS/ME affected the circulation of blood to my brain. I caught the H1N1 virus in 1976. Covid also attacks the brain. However, this time the medical profession is aware of possible long-term complications caused by nasty viruses. I will continue at a slower pace and deal with fables and short stories.
The accident in Surfside was devastating. The poor people. Often, catastrophes stem from one error, just one.
Love,
M 💕

It Chronic Fatigue Syndore/ME. It attacked my brain just as Covid-19 does. Very few people will be spared. It will depend on the severity of Covid. I was relatively well until 2015, but I must slow down a little. These are problems one manages. Your friend, Micheline

Merci infiniment. 🙂

Thank you JoAnn. A very long time ago I caught the H1N1 virus, and never fully recovered. Fortunately, scientists are investigating slow Covid. This may give people a chance to live a more or less normal life. One cannot do as much as one would wish, but one can have a rewarding career. However, the last few days were difficult. 💕

Merci beaucoup France. 🙂

Derrick, I doubt that I will ever get altogether better, but I am thankful for good days. In 1991, I was told I would not be able to do anything anymore. That was thirty years ago. Had I not been overworked into a bad episode of ME, I would be enjoying my garden in Nova Scotia and producing watercolours and other artwork. I thank you for writing. That’s very kind. 🙂
